A credit score (you have multiple) is a number that financial institutions use to judge how likely you are to pay back any money they give you. The higher your scores, the more stable and trustworthy they view you. The lower the scores, erm well... you may have to give mum and dad a call. Just kidding.

Your credit scores are not the only factor lenders look at, but they typically play a role. You can check your standing with our Credit Scores tool.

This is the biggest credit myth out there! We make a ‘soft enquiryʼ with participating credit reporting bureaus. That means it is technically recorded, but it does not impact your credit scores.

If you've created an account with Wisr before, you simply need to log in to the app using the same credentials.

If you're new here, hello and welcome! You can create an account either in the app or on our website. We'll ask you for a few details so we can securely match you with the correct credit reports. It should only take a few minutes. It helps to have your driver's licence or some form of ID ready.

Once you've successfully created your account, we'll ask you to log in via the app. You'll then be able to peruse your scores and credit reports.

No, checking your credit scores on the Wisr dashboard does not count as a competition entry. For a valid competition entry, you must log in to Wisr App and view your credit scores on the home screen.
