Have an account set aside for your car registration, insurance and servicing. This has helped exponentially with achieving my financial goals without dipping into my savings account.
Also, buy second-hand! You’d be amazed at what you can find on Marketplace, eBay etc. From furniture to clothing, if you’re dedicated, you can find pretty much exactly what you’re after at a fraction of the cost.
