We’ve written these guidelines to help our customers (yeah, that means you) understand how we create content, and ensure what we publish is informative, accurate and helpful.

Our editorial guidelines apply to any content that is published on our website, app, social media or via marketing. 

Tone of voice 

First impressions count, so we strive to be friendly, approachable, and empathetic in our content. 

We use plain English - AKA our content is easy-to-understand and skips the jargon - (as a finance company, we know this isn’t always possible but we try). 

Our content aims to be informative and helpful, and answer frequently asked questions to the best of our ability. 

Our content 

Team Wisr publishes a range of website and app content, including Smart Guides, blog posts, FAQs, illustrations, social media updates, videos, media and marketing material. 

All content published by Wisr is intended to provide you with useful information, but it is not a substitute for personal financial advice or assistance. 

Our content aims to be engaging, informative, and easy to read.

Accuracy and credibility

Our team takes editorial accuracy and credibility seriously and strives to ensure that all of our content is thoroughly researched, reviewed by relevant experts and based on reliable sources. Where appropriate, content is reviewed by Australian psychologists accurately sourced and includes reference data. 

Corrections policy

If you spot any errors in our content, let us know as soon as possible and we’ll ensure they are investigated and fixed up. 

When errors happen (yep, we’re not perfect), we aim to be honest and accountable when corrections are made.
